How our content is produced
Health content is only worth as much as its provenance. So we set out where our statements come from, who reviews them, and where our interests lie.
Sources
We rely on primary sources: guidelines from the AWMF and the medical societies, publications by the Robert Koch Institute, systematic reviews, and peer-reviewed journal articles. Every article lists its sources at the end with author, year and reference. Where the evidence is thin, we say so rather than smoothing it over.
Medical review
Articles with medical content are reviewed by a doctor before publication. They carry a review note naming the reviewing physician.
Keeping content current
The legal position and the evidence change. Articles that state a legal position are updated when it changes, and the update is indicated.
What our content does not do
It replaces neither medical advice nor a diagnosis and is not intended for self-diagnosis. We make no promises of cure and claim no efficacy that the cited sources do not support. For none of the conditions we cover is medical cannabis a first-line therapy.
Errors and corrections
If you spot a factual error in an article, write to us. We check the report and correct what needs correcting.
