For a follow-up prescription a shorter questionnaire is enough, without asking again for information we already have. There is no prescription without a medical review – online or offline.

You choose the pharmacy yourself, from 367 partner pharmacies across Germany. Depending on the pharmacy, shipping, local courier delivery or in-store pickup is available. Not necessarily. The written request works via the questionnaire, without an appointment. If you would like to talk, choose the video consultation.

A request via Medicanova results in a private prescription that you pay yourself. Coverage by statutory health insurance is only possible with a statutory prescription from a contracted practice and is subject to conditions; since 30 July 2026, statutory insurers no longer pay for cannabis flowers. Since 2024 there is no fixed maximum amount. The quantity depends on the dosage set by the doctor; 100 grams per month is a common reference value.

Yes. Existing patients receive a shorter questionnaire that does not ask again for known information. Whether a follow-up prescription is issued is decided by the doctor; the fee applies per request.
